School is over and summer has started. Throughout the year, our scouts have learned so many new things about the world and about themselves. As summer vacation begins to take a hold over everyone, take a minute to think not just about what has been learned in school but what your scouts have learned in scouting. Whether it be learning how to use a saw, different types of trees on a hike, or just a reminder on how to have fun at a holiday party they have learned a lot. Scouting continues to build a strong character and a sense of citizenship.
