Cub Scout Pack 141 and Boy Scout Troop 141 are holding an open house. Come out and experience what scouting in Rutland is all about.

We will have a variety of demonstrations and activates for scouts of all ages. Here are some of the things we have planned.

  • Meet our robot named Scout
  • Stomp Rockets
  • Model Rocket building ($7.00 a kit for non-scouts/free for current and newly registered scouts).
  • Pinewood derby races
  • Learn about cub Scouting
  • Knot tying
  • Fire building
  • Camping gear
  • Treasure hunt
  • Learn about BSA High Adventure trips
  • Leadership skills
  • (Earn Scout-Bucks) Learn how kids can earn money to pay for the program and summer camp while helping the community.
  • See how our Eagle projects are helping our community.

Earn scout bucks!

There are several opportunities for our scouts to earn scout-bucks while helping our community. A scout can earn enough scout-bucks to cover the cost of annual dues and even summer camp.
